At their annual meeting, on Monday June 22, 2009, the Lake County Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services (ADAMHS) Board, voted to contract with Signature Health, Inc. as a non-medicaid service provider for mental health services. Beginning July 1st, 2009 all Lake County residents who are uninsured or under insured have a new choice for mental health services. Adults, Families, and Children can now receive mental health services at Signature Health, Inc. thanks to funding provided by the Lake County ADAMHS Board.
The ADAMHS Board plans, funds and monitors our local network of mental health and recovery services. Its work is governed by an eighteen member board of trustees - all Lake County residents who serve without compensation. Board members include mental health and addiction recovery experts, consumers (people who need and use services), family members, and business/community leaders. The resulting blend of expertise and perspectives makes the ADAMHS Board uniquely qualified to handle these important issues effectively and efficiently.
