The 1st annual Signature Health Trunk or Treat was soooo much fun!!! In case you were tooo scared to come we had over 2 thousand people come thru to trick or treat!!! Congratulations to the winners of the best decorated trunks. 1st place goes to "The Wagon" with Joyce Bloom, Krystie Camplese and their helpers. Second place went to "Candy Land" by Jen Meivogel and 3rd Place went to the "Pumkin Patch" by Wendy Carly.
Iam already starting to think about next years event! I am thinking 2 haunted houses... One for the little kids...... and one's for the people who think they can't be scared.....
I want to say a special thank you to everyone who helped make this a huge success. Of course our fearless event leader Paul Brickman deserves a huge round of applause but he didnt do it by himself. Thanks to all the staff who helped bag up and organize the candy. Thanks to Bea Barnes and Joan Steidl who never rested and made sure everyone's candy supply was full. Thanks to Peggy Senskey for passing out the gloves and hats in the tent. Thanks for everyone who decorated their trunks, helped set up and helped tear down. I heard over and over again from the Police how impressed they were with the event and how pleasant and polite everyone was.
Speaking of which I really need to thank Jim Timonere for his help and support with resources from the city including allowing us to block off trafic and set up a tent on the City Hall grounds. Thanks to the Firefighters and SWAT crew from bringing the vehicles. The kids loved them!!
Happy Halloween !
