Signature Health Foundation

The Signature Health Foundation was established in January 2011 and received a tax identification and 501(c)(3) status in July of 2011. The Foundation grew from a significant community need recognized by our Ashtabula Case Manager, Jen Meivogel. In her own words:

"I am a case manager and part of my job is to link clients with community resources. Unfortunately, a lot of the resources in our community are used up very quickly. It is very frustrating to look into the face of a person who needs help and tell them that nothing is available. At Signature Health we deal with a lot of people in need who can't get their feet on solid ground long enough to find recovery. Sometimes, a little extra help is all they need, so we started the Foundation. We develop new resources and collaborate with existing resources to provide the extra help many of our clients need."

Jen is the president of the Ashtabula branch of the Foundation, while Liz LaBounty, Willoughby Case Manager, coordinates the Willoughby branch. Each works on addressing community-specific needs and solving problems.
